Often sold as bait in your local bait shop, shiners can supplement the forage base in your pond.
An unconventional forage option, goldfish, should only be considered in certain ponds. They do provide an easy target for hungry bass.
Threadfin shad, small adult size and frequent reproduction, make a great food source in many sport fish ponds.
